My goal is to minimize damage and help people move forward with their lives
While still in my teens , we moved to a brand new builder built house – with all the bells and whistles but it had a problem – we were on a septic system. It was a night mare when the septic broke down. The big time builder, the health department and the home warranty all rejected our request to have it repaired. They put the blame on us. We the home owners mis-used the system! My dad went to the lawyers but they too were not keen on helping us – No way can you win taking them to court. First the warranty expired & second no way can you win against these high profile defendents for FRAUD case!
Dad was sure that the septic system was a sub-standard work.My dad decided to take the case in his own hands and took all the 3 parties to court for fraud. It took 5 years but dad never gave up. He went to the law library Osgoode hall and studied every case re septic malfunction. and sure he has a valid case.
All the time dad was fighting for his rights – we had to move out of our non- habitial house. We were literally paying for 2 mortgages. It was hard on our financial.
It was at this time – that I realised that I want to be a lawyer and wanted to help people when they have been wronged.

As a solo practitioner, I often work with clients to provide services on a flat-fee basis. Unlike traditional law firms, I don’t bill clients by the hour or minutes. My clients don’t feel pressured or hurried when communicating with me on their important matters.
Going solo also had its own problems. How can I compete with and be able to go against much larger firms?
Having an engineering background – I am proud to say that Highclass Law effectively uses technology in the practice of law. Most of the larger established law firms are still running the old fashion way. Many lawyers are not keen on learning the newer technology that is available.
